Marrakech
Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel . Your arrival transfer is included.

Marrakech
We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and explore the city of Marrakech to see what it has to offer. We will visit sites such as Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs and Menara Gardens to learn more about the history, significance and architecture of these places. Observe the everyday life as we weave through the medina and be dazzled by the colourful wares of the friendly shop keepers, ranging from the spices to fresh produce and Moroccan slippers. This evening join in the hustle and bustle of the night market at the famous Jemaa El-Fna square where there is something going on anywhere you turn. Soak in the atmosphere and be fascinated by the storytellers, the acrobats and the musicians amidst the organised chaos.

Marrakech arrival at Dades Valley
We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to drive towards Dades Valley. As we make our way through the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n Tichka pass, marvel at the stunning landscape of rugged beauty and the picturesque Berber villages – get your cameras ready! And if the friendly village children wave at you, remember to wave back. We head towards Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been the filming backdrop for Hollywood movies such as The Gladiator and more recently the popular TV series The Game of Thrones. After the visit, we proceed to lunch before resuming our journey towards Ouarzazate, passing through the Valley of Roses along the way to Dades Valley. Upon arrival at Dades Valley, we will have dinner and spend the night at the Riad.

Dades Valley arrival at Erg Chebbi
This morning we will make our way towards Merzouga, the gateway to Erg Chebbi where the fiery orange sand dunes of the Sahara Desert await. On route, we will travel through the town of Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorge, which is known to be one of the most spectacular canyons around the world. After the visit, we proceed to Tinejdad for lunch. After lunch, we continue to make our way through the Tafilalet region, the largest Saharan oasis of Morocco, passing through the town of Erfoud before arriving at Merzouga. We will store our bags at a local hotel and leave our modern transport to become true explorers traversing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes on camel backs to arrive at our camp site. Here, we will sit on the sand dunes to admire the beautiful sunset – but this is not yet the end as the night is just about to begin. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner at our camp site, where we will sit by the camp fire with drumming music, songs and laughter. Most of all, be mesmerised by the stars before retiring for the night in your Berber tent.

Erg Chebbi arrival at Fes
Wake up an hour early to live an hour more – we encourage you to rise early to witness sunrise over the Sahara and welcome a new day of adventure. After breakfast, we will depart from the desert on our camels and return to the hotel at Merzouga for a shower before heading out towards Fes. We will travel through Erfoud, Aoufous and the Ziz Valley in Errachidia to the mineral mining town of Midelt for lunch. After lunch, we will drive through the cedar forest of Azrou and stop to play with the friendly Barbary Apes. We then continue to make our way through the Middle Atlas Mountains before arriving at Ifran to experience the Moroccan Switzerland. Thereafter, we continue to make our way to Fes and will have dinner at the hotel on arrival.

Fes
Today we will explore the city of Fes. We will visit the 16th century Borj Sud fortress, which faces Borj Nord. Built as a military monument, the fortress offers a commanding view of the city from the south. From here, we head on to a pottery cooperative to learn the art of Moroccan pottery and mosaic making from the skilled artisans. We will also visit the Royal Palace of Fes and the Jnan Sbil Gardens. The highlight of our Fes visit will undoubtedly be our walking tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Medina of Fes, which is still very much an integral part of the every day life of the people of Fes. You will be guided through the maze of narrow walkways and alleys with shops on both sides, ranging from fruit sellers to barber shops and many more. You may even run into a donkey or two going about their goods delivery rounds as you navigate your way through the Medina! As part of the walking tour, we will also visit the leather tanneries of Fes and learn more about the traditional treatment and dying process which have been passed down for centuries. Other stops of interest within the Medina include the Bou Inania Madrasa, where you can admire the beautiful architecture of the building, as well as the Jewish quarter of Bab Mellah, which offers a glimpse into the life of the Jewish people. We will spend the night at our hotel in Fes.

Fes arrival at Chefchaouen
This morning, we depart from Fes and head to the UNESCO World Heritage site at Volubilis, where the best preserved Roman archaeological site in Morocco is located. Look out for the remains of the mosaics and imagine the glorious Roman past as you walk through the site. After the walking tour, we will travel to Mekens, making a stop on our way to take in the panoramic view of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, the spiritual capital of Morocco. At Mekens, we will see the famous Bab Mansour that is known to be one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco and have a chance to walk around the El-Hedim Square, where there are various stores selling traditional handicrafts, cafes and not forgetting the street performers like snake charmer. After lunch, we head on to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco that nestles in the Rif mountains. Tonight we will have dinner and stay overnight at Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen arrival at Casablanca
This morning, after breakfast Chefchaouen, we will set off on a walking tour with some free time thereafter for you to wander off and explore the beautiful blue washed town. Notice the colourful flower pots standing proudly against the wall of blue, the nonchalant cats sitting on the steps and the local kids playing in the alley. We are certain you will take many Instagram worthy pictures!then we travel to the capital of Morroco – Rabat. We will visit Mohammed V Mausoleum – the grand tomb of past Moroccan kings which is watched over by the royal guards, the Hassan Tower – which is an unfinished minaret together with hundreds of columns of an incomplete mosque and Oudayas Kasbah – which is a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can experience a city within a city. After visiting Rabat, we will drive on to Casablanca where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Casablanca
This morning, we will visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque the largest mosque in Africa that is located by the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike most mosques in Morroco, Hassan II Mosque allows visitors of all faith an opportunity to enter and visit respectfully. Admire the intricate architecture, watch the sunlight stream in through the windows and feel the sense of peace within. After the visit, we will do a city tour of Casablanca before we bid you farewell and hope we will have the opportunity again to show you more of Morocco the next time.
